Northern Ireland

Early in 1969 I saw a news clip of civil rights marchers on a bridge being beaten by police. I immediately thought of our civil rights movement, except that the bridge was a stone bridge probably hundreds of years old, and all of the people involved were white. Very circuitous route from Havana to Madrid to France to London and finally to Belfast I got there to learn more about this movement. While photography became difficult because the police were seizing cameras to identify civil rights workers I was able to get the pictures on the site. Again, over time I will add additional images.
